#RebelliousWriting

A rebellion has begun.

A rebellion started by teenagers and young adults.

A rebellion started by Christians.

What do we rebel against?

SMUT

SWEARING

ALCOHOL ABUSE

DRUG ABUSE

DOMESTIC ABUSE

AND OTHER DARK, VILE THOUGHTS, WORDS AND DEEDS

FROM THE PITS OF HELL

IN OUR YOUNG ADULT LITERATURE!!!!

We're tired of looking away and closing an otherwise good book because of the above things.

We only ask for decency from our Young Adult authors.

Others have already answered Gray Marie Cox's call:

Jem Jones @ Jem Jones, Writer

Florid Sword @ A Writer's Song

WILL YOU???

Here's how you can:

1. Write posts on your blog (rants, recommendations, reviews of books, etc.) and link them to Gray 's post.

2. Place either the #RebelliousWriting image or one of the memes on the sidebar of your blog.

3. Actively share blog posts, images/memes on social media.

4. Email the team at therebelliouswriting@gmail.com if you wish to become more involved!

A good novel tells us the truth about it's hero,
but a bad novel tells us the truth about it's author.

~ G. K. Chesterton

  1. Thanks for the mention. I voted on your poll. (Uncle Sam, obviously, lol.) Keep up the awesome work. (Yay, we both use the word smut.)

    1. You're so welcome Ivie! So far, that one is the most popular one!

I think the word "smut" sums up that particular issue really nice and neatly, don't you?

    2. Hey, we'll pretend I'm commenting back at a decent time and not this late. Yes, smut sums everything up. Unfortunately, that's all I can find in books these days. Hoping to find better books soon. :)

Oh! Were you going to drop a note? Please do! I love little notes!
I only ask that they be polite and clean. Check back, I usually reply! ~ Catherine
