Musing on August, Hailing September
12:55 AM
But anyway, what else has been going on?
For Working by Candlelight, I wrote 1 post: The Rough Road to Tradition. It's all about my journey to Catholicism, so if you're curious, please have a read!
For Rebelling Muse, I wrote 5 posts: End of Camp NaNoWrimo July 2020, My Author Platform Struggles, Professional Photo Shoot and Fun in the Creek, Review: The Chosen (Season 1), and Blog Tour: A Review of Ships, Secrets and Survivors. Maybe that's why my other blog got neglected, lol.
For Maidens for Mary, I wrote no posts.
Now, there is some huge news in regard to two other blogs.
The first is that Rebellious Writing has been officially retired, as all of the team members have been just too busy. You could say that it was a COVID casualty, lol. As such, it is disappearing from my blog stats on these wrapups.
The second is that I have just privatized my third blog, The Cat in the Barnyard. Many of you know that I have been really struggling with this blog - what it's purpose is, especially - and so I've decided to take it offline entirely for a time. However, I do have plans to bring it back later this fall, as I work it into more of a history blog with agricultural highlights, rather than the other way around. Hence it is also disappearing from my blog stats, albeit temporary.
Goal #1 (TWR): TWR is now in the hands of the editor, and she won't be back until the end of September. While I enjoy my break, I shall work on other pressing projects, LOL.
Goal #2 (Platform): I've branched out into some new social media platforms that will hopefully be useful for building my platform. Now I suppose the next step is a proper email list....
Goal #3 (April NaNo): FINISHED. You can view the completed story on Wattpad HERE.
Goal #4 (NaNo): No progress.
Goal #5 (Movies): We watched 3 new movies! Only 7 more to go!
Goal #6 (Library): No progress.
Goal #7 (Vlogs): FINISHED. You can view the Fandoms one HERE and the Bucket List one HERE.
I'm maybe thinking about changing up that first section of the wrap-up, what do you think? It just seems a bit....sparse. Any suggestions? How has your August gone?
Scribbingly yours,
Catherine

Sounds like you had a productive month! My August went really well, although I didn't quite get done everything I wanted to...
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI *cough* the paperback copy of SSaS has illustrations that the eARC and the ebook don't have *cough*
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting your book off to the editor! I'm sure that's both exciting and nervewracking.
